Your story. Your strength. Your portrait.
welcome to the power project
The Power Project celebrates incredible women and the stories, accomplishments, and experiences that have shaped who they are today.
Your portrait session is your opportunity to simply show up as yourself. You do not need to know how to pose or worry about being “photogenic.” I’ll guide you through the entire experience and create portraits that feel polished, confident, powerful, and authentically you.
This page has everything you need to prepare for your session, from outfit inspiration and hair and makeup recommendations to what you can expect on the day of your photoshoot.
I can’t wait to meet you, hear a little about your story, and photograph you for The Power Project.

Outfit inspiration
These looks are here to inspire you, not to limit you. Choose pieces that feel polished, confident, and authentically you, whether that means timeless neutrals, a tailored suit, a beautiful dress, or a bold pop of Florida color.
Solid colors, flattering fits, and intentional accessories photograph beautifully. Most importantly, wear something that makes you feel like the best version of yourself the moment you put it on.

FAQ

What should I wear for my portrait session?
Choose something that makes you feel confident, polished, and like yourself. Solid colors and well-fitting pieces photograph beautifully. You are welcome to bring 1 to 2 outfit options, and I can help you decide what will photograph best.
Do I need professional hair and makeup?
Professional hair and makeup are recommended, but not required. The goal is for you to feel polished and camera-ready while still looking like yourself. If you need a hair and makeup artist recommendation, please reach out to me.
Do I need to know how to pose?
Not at all! I will guide you throughout the entire session, including posing, posture, hands, expressions, and angles. You simply need to show up ready to enjoy the experience.
How will the final photos be selected?
There is no need to review or select images during your portrait session. After the sessions are completed, The Power Project team will review the photographs with you and narrow them down to the top four images. From those, The Power Project will select the final two portraits for inclusion in the book and program.
Can I take photos, videos, or share behind-the-scenes content?
Because The Power Project is confidential prior to its official launch, no filming, recording, behind-the-scenes photography, or social media posting is permitted during your portrait appointment. Thank you for helping us keep The Power Project top secret until the official reveal.
